A computer system

1. What is an input device? Writte down which input devices you know and post an image of each one.

An input device is any peripheral (piece of computer hardware equipment) used to provide data and control signals to an information processing system (such as a computer).

2.What is an output device? Writte down which output devices you know and post and image of each one.

An output device is any piece of computer hardware equipment used to communicate the results of data processing carried out by an information processing system (such as a computer) to the outside world.

3. What is the difference between RAM and ROM?

Random-access memory (usually known by its acronym, RAM) is a form of computer data storage. Today, it takes the form of integrated circuits that allow stored data to be accessed in any order (i.e., at random).

4. What is a backing storage? Which types of backing storage do you know?

In computing, memory outside the central processing unit (CPU) used to store programs and data that are not in current use. Backing storage must be nonvolatile – that is, its contents must not be lost when the power supply to the computer system is disconnected.

EXAMPLES:

Hard drives
CD,DVD,and Blu-Ray
All types of cards(SD,XD...)
USB
